I am medically trained in both electrolysis and laser hair removal, my qualifications are:
- Certified Electrologist
- Certified Professional Electrologist
- Medical Laser Technician
I studied electrolysis at the prestigious Caruso International School of Electrolysis and graduated at the top of my class. I currently hold the position of Treasurer & Membership Secretary of the Federation of Canadian Electrologists (FCEA) and previously held the position of Recording Secretary. The FCEA is an organization dedicated to promoting professionalism and elevating electrolysis standards through continuing education.
I am also a member of the American Electrology Association http://www.electrology.com and the Society of Clinical and Medical Hair Removal http://www.scmhr.org .
My professional background is in infection control, I am a Certified Public Health Inspector CPHI(C). I am very active in the electrolysis profession. I most recently presented to the FCEA on the requirements that electrologists must follow in accordance with the Ontario Ministry of Health Infection Prevention and Control Best Practices for Personal Services Settings.
